I am so excited for what God is doing for my baby. So truly grateful to God!! Yesterday Christian had another clinic appointment. He had an echo, EKG, the dietitians came in, the home monitoring nurses came in the room, it was like a revolving door. Christian had been doing well all week, eating really good bottles, pooping and peeing and nursing. Wayne and I had seen Christian do a turnaround from the previous week, thank God Almighty. We knew he had a better week and were excited for his doctor and team of nurses to see for their self. When the doctor came in, he told us that he expected Christian to look worse, and for his oxygen not to be good and that he would have to admit him into the hospital. BUT I SERVE A GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LORD I THANK YOU I THANK YOU I THANK YOU!!!! Mind you last week Christian’s numbers were not good, his appetite had decreased, his oxygen levels were not good at all, he had some weight gain, but it had been trending down for the last two weeks. Christian’s doctor came into the room and told us, that his oxygen looked good, it was up 10pts from the week before, his weight gain was great…and he said his eco had changes; the obstruction has decreased from the week before. He looked dumbfounded… he said maybe it was the weight gain, he said “very interesting” Christian’s cardiologist is a very seasoned man, he has been in his field 30 plus years…so for him to say “interesting” When last week he had said Christian would not make it to his next major surgery without a patch surgery…God is AWESOME!! He really had no words, no reason as to why the obstruction was less than it has been Christian’s entire life. Last week he was talking about performing a “patch surgery” today he said “it’s interesting” This blockage that Christian has in his heart, should only be able to be removed by surgery…do you hear what I am saying? God performed a surgery on my baby!! God IS performing surgery on my baby!! Through prayer, through trusting and believing and making an altar of praise, giving God a place to come down and rest, HE chose to perform surgery, w/o anestesia, without a surgeon, or nurses, God is doing it!! When the doctor left the room, Wayne and I shouted and did a dance right there in the doctor’s office, NOBODY but God, NOBODY but God. Every test brings a testimony if you let it. I am so grateful to God; I am excited to see what HE is going to do next. I am believing God for some other miracles and not just for my family…but for some others.
The doctor expected one thing and we expected another, we have to expect God, we have to create that altar of praise in good times and in bad, we have to trust God no matter what it looks like. So I am rejoicing and looking to see what else God is going to do. Christian has a testimony and it’s powerful and what is even more exciting…God is not done yet!!
